For them, TV gave up the vocation to cheer up. The living room became somber. The bath is cold. The refrigerator does not cool. The lamp on the balcony surrendered to the gloom. And against all pretensions, the days became shorter. All that one could expect from a life of effort was to enjoy comfort at the end of each journey.
But Seu Miranda, Laerte, Pedro, Genésio Duarte, wife Sandra and the five children are excluded whenever the sun goes down. In wooden huts or bare bricks, they live where the electric energy does not arrive, either because they lack money to set up the network or live in an area of risk.
